Hours & Pay
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (flexible within standard business hours)

Position Overview: Shipping Document and AR Support Specialist
This role focuses on locating, validating, and correcting shipping documentation and ASN data to support Accounts Receivable issue resolution. You'll work independently with minimal supervision, collaborating with shipping and AR teams to ensure shipment records align with customer and billing requirements.
What You'll Do Each Day
- Locate, compile, and validate shipping documents for AR review
- Verify shipment records against customer and EDI requirements
- Identify correct ASN numbers for past and current shipments
- Update or resend ASN data through customer EDI systems when possible
- Assist AR in resolving shipment-related discrepancies causing overdue balances
- Maintain accurate logs of corrections and follow-up actions
- Escalate missing or unclear shipment data to the appropriate factory contacts
- Request and follow up on ship confirmations in JDE to support accurate billing
- Assist the shipping team with proper documentation processes
- Verify shipping documents are scanned and stored correctly
- Request and track proof-of-delivery documentation
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
- 1 year of experience supporting AR issue resolution and/or shipping operations
- Experience in shipping, logistics, EDI processing, or ERP systems preferred
- Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar systems is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn EDI processes and customer platforms
- Clear, professional communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to support extended hours, overtime, or weekends during peak periods
