Pay Rate: $17 - $20/hr. (Depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
- Collect, document, and analyze samples; maintain accurate test records and calibration logs.
- Identify and communicate quality issues, assisting with investigations and corrective actions.
- Monitor production lines for adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, HACCP).
- Support internal audits, third-party inspections, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Quality, Food Science, or related field preferred.
- 1 year of experience in quality assurance or food/beverage manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and multitasking ability.
- Proficient with basic computer systems for data entry and reporting.
- Effective communicator and team player with a commitment to quality and safety.
