- Previous experience ininstallation, low-voltage wiring, or AV/security systemspreferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and hand/power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, or technical instructions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor)
Day-to-Day Tasks
- Install and configureaudio/visual equipment(TVs, speakers, surround sound systems)
- Set up and maintainsecurity systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Run and route wiring (low voltage, cabling, etc.) through walls, ceilings, and other structures
- Mount TVs, monitors, and equipment securely and accurately
- Test systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
- Educate customers on system use and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Complete service reports and documentation as required
