- 5 years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty equipment mechanic.
- Strong knowledge ofhydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
- Ability to readblueprints/diagrams and follow technical documentation.
- Personal toolbox andvalid driver's license required.
- Proven foreman/lead experience a strong plus.
- Goal-driven with consistent follow-through and high work standards.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management.
- Clear, professional communication-able to explain repairs and timelines.
- Active listening and thoughtful questioning to ensure mutual understanding.
- Adherence to safety policies, company procedures, and quality guidelines.
- Collaborative, positive team contributor.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
- Utilize maintenance management systems; read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Manage an assigned vehicle fleet independently, including scheduling, parts coordination, and work documentation.
- Partner with customers and internal teams to set expectations, provide updates, and close service tickets.
