- Prepare, assemble, scan, index, and analyze patient records
- Ensure all charts are completed and accounted for
- Copy, sort, and mail dictation to surgeons
- Accurately file medical charts
- Respond to information requests from patients, physicians, the billing department, and nursing staff
- Deliver charts
- Verify pathology reports
- Maintain confidentiality
