Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, trade school, or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, facilities maintenance, or commercial maintenance experience.
- Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including equipment up to 480V.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and production equipment maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, welding equipment, and shop machinery.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance skills.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work safely in manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
- Ability to travel occasionally, as needed.
- Capable of working independently while managing multiple maintenance tasks and priorities.
Job Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and facility issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Repair or replace motors, wiring, fixtures, machine components, and other maintenance-related equipment.
- Perform facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, and general building repairs.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to complete repairs accurately.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including snow and ice removal, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
