Education Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, trade certification, or equivalent professional experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, landscaping, or related skilled trades.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or skilled trades experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repair work.
- Ability to complete preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, service calls, and emergency repairs.
- Experience using mobile devices, work order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in commercial facilities, construction, janitorial services, property management, or landscaping.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate professionally with clients.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, building codes, and maintenance best practices.
- Experience inspecting building systems and providing repair recommendations and project estimates.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces throughout the day.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and travel locally between customer sites daily.
Job Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair services for commercial buildings, equipment, and grounds across an assigned territory.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, lighting, drywall, doors, paint, and other facility components.
- Conduct HVAC, asset, and building inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Complete work orders, service reports, inspections, photos, timesheets, and expense documentation using company-provided technology.
- Maintain a company vehicle, tools, and inventory needed to complete service calls.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate repair status, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Follow all company safety policies, compliance requirements, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance services.
