Pay: $32.00 - $35.00/hr
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday
What You'll Do:
- Program, modify, and optimize CNC machines (mills, lathes, and multi-axis) using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM)
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering models to determine tooling, setups, and machining operations
- Set up and troubleshoot machines during program rollout and initial runs
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance and finish
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to refine processes and ensure high-precision production
- Conduct first article inspections and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain organized program libraries and documentation for repeatability
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and implement process enhancements
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in G-code and CAD/CAM software
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, materials, and GD&T
- Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Associate's degree or trade certification in machining, manufacturing technology, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus
