Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree, technical training, manufacturing coursework, or leadership development training is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of production and safety experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Lead daily food production operations, including processing, packaging, shipping, sanitation, and inventory activities.
- Create production schedules and ensure products meet customer specifications and production goals.
- Train, coach, and cross-train employees on safety procedures, operational processes, and compliance requirements.
- Promote workplace safety by conducting daily safety meetings and addressing unsafe conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with sales and production teams.
- Support audits, product recalls, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, USDA, FSIS, and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review employee timecards and assist with staffing and workforce development.
- Mentor production leads and support employee growth opportunities.
- Ability to work in a food production environment.
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Ability to respond quickly to production and safety concerns.
