Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience with welding, soldering, fine wire assembly, or lamination is a plus
- Experience working with microscopes and small components preferred
- Familiarity with potting chemicals, machine maintenance, or continuous improvement practices is a plus
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to learn new processes through cross-training
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while handling tools, equipment, and chemicals
Job Duties:
- Assemble high-quality products by following standard work instructions and production procedures
- Perform welding, soldering, and assembly of small components using microscopes and specialized equipment
- Work with chemicals and production materials safely and according to company procedures
- Complete production paperwork and accurately enter work-in-progress and inventory data into computer systems
- Inspect products for quality and immediately report defects or production issues
- Use tools, materials, and equipment safely while maintaining production standards
- Cross-train in multiple production areas and product lines to support manufacturing needs
- Train team members on processes and equipment after becoming qualified
- Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
