A well-established financial services organization in Geneseo, NY, is seeking a dedicated Account Support Representative to assist with account delinquency outreach, repayment coordination, and detailed recordkeeping.
Please note, this is an in-office position. Candidates MUST be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY.
Hours & Pay
- Pay: $17.20-$17.75 per hour monthly bonus opportunities
- Training Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Post-Training Flexible Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-9:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Choose an 8-hour shift within these windows
- One evening shift (until 9 PM) is required per week
- Employment Type: Temp-to-hire, in-office only

Daily Tasks
- Contact individuals with delinquent accounts to discuss repayment options
- Make outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Conduct skip-tracing to locate updated contact or employment details
- Negotiate payments or escalate more complex cases appropriately
- Document all interactions clearly while following the scripts verbatim
- Verify account details for special circumstances, such as disability or bankruptcy
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and internal guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of collections experience
- Strong reading comprehension, communication, and typing abilities
- Comfortable navigating modern office systems and data tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow structured procedures and work independently
- Must be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY (in-office only)
