Commercial Loan Officer
Location: Fort Collins, CO 80031 (Hybrid)
Type: Fulltime, Direct hire role
Salary Range: $85,380 – $106,725 Commission Benefits
Role Summary
Responsible for sourcing, developing, and servicing commercial loans and related products. Acts as primary contact for members/prospective members, coordinating across internal teams to ensure strong service throughout the lending process. Builds referral networks, supports portfolio growth, and maintains advisory-level client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to meet production goals
- Represent Elevations Credit Union in the business community as a preferred lender
- Solicit and process commercial loan applications with accurate member data
- Serve as primary member contact throughout loan lifecycle
- Ensure timely communication and end-to-end deal execution with internal stakeholders
- Stay updated on market trends and commercial lending conditions
- Cross-sell credit union products and services
- Manage and maintain active commercial loan portfolio
- Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge of commercial products, services, regulations, and requirements
- 3–5 years commercial/business lending & servicing experience in a financial services company
- Proven success in sales and production roles in financial services
- Existing commercial loan portfolio
Work Environment & Requirements
- Personal smartphone required (multi-factor authentication)
- Standard office tools usage
- Reports To: VP Commercial Lending (AVP Commercial Lending noted in duties section)
- Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently and Walking occasionally
- Frequent use of hands, hearing, talking and lifting up to 10 lbs. occasionally
