Position Purpose:
The reruiting coordinator provides comprehensive and administrative support to the HR/PR Department. The primary responsibilities are: Administrative Support, Recruitment, Filing, Maintaining personnel files, and other administrative functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create new hire packets
- Recruit, source, and interview applicants using online and on site sources
- Send new hire information to Corporate HR Department
- Maintain all employees HR and payroll files
- Assist HR/PR department with special projects
- Daily submitting fill of rate numbers in Engage
- Enter qualified candidates in the IQN system for open positions
- Conducting on-site orientations
- Promoting safety in the warehouse
- Answering phone calls
- Process paperwork for new hires, rehires, and terminations
- Managing time and attendance reporting
- Maintains compliance with employment laws and US Department of Homeland Security
- Assist with payroll/checks
Supplemental Functions:
- Provide administrative support to HR/PR Manager.
- Collect, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including resumes.
- Maintain administrative forms and manuals.
Required Skills:
- Able to use all Microsoft Office.
- Maintaining confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Basic mathematical operations and formulas
- Ability to use discretion and prudence.
- Ability to organize and maintain electronic and paper files.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office.
Education:
- High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate respect and sensitivity for cultural differences.
- Information and technology proficiency.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Great communication skills, able to speak and write English and Spanish
Special Requirements
