Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Metal Fabricator/Welder with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a consistent attendance record, and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Fabricate and assemble metal components to specifications
- Perform MIG/Flux core welding as required
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, press, and manual plasma
- Ensure all parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding
- Strong welding skills (GMAW/FCAW)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements accurately
- Solid understanding of fabrication processes and shop equipment
- Proven reliability with strong attendance and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and dust
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
- Experience in a custom fabrication environment
