Position: Food Production Worker

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $19/hour

Experience: Previous experience in a cold/wet work environment handling raw vegetables is a plus but not required

Education: High School Diploma

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Food Production Worker to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Check quality of raw materials
• Notify management and QA if items are of unacceptable quality
• Process raw materials to fulfill the day’s orders using hand tools and produce processing machinery
• Store, move, and rotate finished products by use of a hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift
• Load finished products into hauler’s truck to be transported to CDC
• Discard waste from production lines
• Operate heavy equipment for produce processing
• Operate production areas within food safety and customer requirements
• Ensure operational safety standards are met within the team and department
  
  

Position Requirements

• Ability to operate basic production tools and machinery safely.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying inventory and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a production environment.
• Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
