Required Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in a production environment producing industrial or heavy-duty products
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, delegate authority, and motivate staff
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA standards, and ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Hands-on experience with production planning, process improvement, and troubleshooting equipment
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to operate independently, make decisions confidently, and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Experience in a similar role within sewing, manufacturing, or industrial production facilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, or other continuous improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI, NFPA, CSA, and OSHA compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing operations, with proven track record of successfully managing a plant or production facility
- Open and close the facility during scheduled hours, with flexibility for early hours (7 AM start)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for facility or supplier visits as needed
- Strong fluency in Spanish is highly preferred, as most employees speak Spanish
- Ability to operate in a physically demanding environment, including walking, standing for extended periods, and working in a manufacturing setting
