Position Overview
As a Nursing Aide with StaffHealth, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on care while supporting patients and assisting the nursing team. Your dedication helps create a safe, comfortable, and positive healthcare experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Document care provided according to facility policies
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient care standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Nursing Aide, Caregiver, Resident Aide, Patient Care Assistant, or similar role preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (or required by facility)
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or memory care experience is a plus
