TITLE: Supply Chain Coordinator – Manufacturing (High-Impact Role)
LOCATION: Mentor, OH
TYPE: Full-Time | Direct Hire (Temp-to-Hire)
THE ROLE:
· Own the daily execution of a fast-paced manufacturing supply chain—driving material availability, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery across suppliers, production, and logistics.
· This is a hands-on, data-driven role focused on eliminating inefficiencies, tightening controls, and enabling uninterrupted production flow.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
· Execute end-to-end coordination of inbound materials, production support, and outbound logistics to meet schedule and cost targets.
· Maintain tight control over inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and stock optimization to prevent shortages and excess.
· Analyze supply chain data (Excel/ERP) to identify bottlenecks, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
· Drive supplier performance—delivery adherence, lead times, and quality alignment with production needs.
· Partner with Purchasing to support order placement, expedite critical materials, and manage supply risks.
· Align with Production and Sales on demand signals, forecasts, and material readiness.
· Track KPIs (OTD, inventory turns, fill rates, lead times) and deliver actionable insights.
· Ensure ERP integrity across inventory, orders, and transactional data.
WHAT YOU BRING:
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline.
· 2–5 years of supply chain/logistics/inventory experience within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and ERP systems (MRP-driven environments preferred).
· Proven ability to manage inventory, coordinate suppliers, and support production schedules.
· Experience analyzing operational data and driving measurable process improvements.
