Position Overview
The Senior Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of nursing healthcare professionals across travel, local, and permanent opportunities. This role is ideal for a proven agency recruiter who can hit the ground running, build strong candidate pipelines, and consistently deliver high-quality placements.
You’ll play a critical role in driving revenue, supporting clients, and elevating the candidate experience—all while operating in a metrics-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for healthcare professionals
- Source, screen, and place candidates across travel, local, and permanent roles
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Develop relationships with healthcare professionals to understand career goals and match opportunities
- Partner closely with account managers and sales teams to fulfill client needs quickly and effectively
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly recruiting KPIs (submittals, placements, revenue, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in ATS/CRM systems
- Stay informed on industry trends, pay packages, and market conditions
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through placement
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare agency recruiting (required)
- Proven success placing allied, nursing, or locum tenens professionals
- Strong understanding of healthcare staffing workflows and urgency
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics in a staffing environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and competitive environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in travel healthcare staffing
- Familiarity with modern sourcing tools, job boards, and CRM/ATS platforms
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
