One of our top clients in the Southfield area is seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable & Payable Supervisor to join their high-performing finance team. This full-time, W2 role offers the opportunity to lead a small team while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in AR/AP operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable departments, including 4 direct reports
- Ensure billings, receivables, and cash applications are processed accurately and on time
- Participate in customer and vendor set-up and maintenance processes within JDE
- Liaise with customers to manage collections and resolve outstanding issues
- Work with vendors to address discrepancies and arrange timely payments
- Identify and correct discrepancies in accounts or billings
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the AR/AP team
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong background in Accounts Receivable (AP experience is a plus)
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems; JDE experience is a plus
- Supervisory/leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team
