This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in the Elkhart, IN area.
What You Will Be Doing
- Serve as a key finance leader and strategic partner supporting overall accounting operations and business initiatives.
- Oversee core accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and audit support.
- Lead and mentor a growing accounting team, providing guidance and support to direct reports while helping build a collaborative team environment.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership teams to support cost analysis, general ledger activities, and operational financial initiatives.
What We Need From You
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with general ledger accounting and cost accounting principles.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
- ERP experience.
All-Star Skillset
The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Previous public accounting experience.
