Facilities Project Management Focused
The Facilities Project Manager oversees the utility and infrastructure components of manufacturing projects. This includes managing vendors, construction, equipment moves, and infrastructure upgrades. The role is responsible for leading large-scale facility projects such as roof replacements, building upgrades, utility improvements, and equipment landings. The Project Manager ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, compliant with specifications, and executed safely while partnering with internal teams and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management
- Coordinate and oversee all vendor activities for project execution.
- Manage vendors involved in utility/infrastructure upgrades, rigging, crane operations, and construction.
- Conduct safety walkthroughs and assessments; develop risk mitigation plans; deliver contractor briefings.
- Ensure vendor compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Issue Resolution
- Lead troubleshooting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utility infrastructure, and urgent building repairs.
Project Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee large-scale utility and infrastructure projects from initiation to closeout.
Budget & Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage project budgets.
- Track expenses and validate vendor invoices to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Purchasing & Orders
- Utilize digital systems to prepare and process purchase orders.
- Ensure alignment with budget constraints and company procurement policies.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation including milestones, contracts, and metric tracking.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all facility activities meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, facilities, engineering, and other internal teams to ensure alignment of facility upgrades with production needs.
Contract Negotiation
- Support negotiation of vendor contracts, service agreements, and warranties to secure cost-effective and high-quality services.
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years of relevant post-graduate experience
- 2 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred
