About the Role
We are seeking an Interface Analyst II to join our Integration Team onsite in Irving, TX. In this role, you will support the design, development, and delivery of technical integration solutions for healthcare systems. You will work closely with project teams to analyze customer requirements, develop messaging specifications, and ensure seamless integration between applications.
This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating efficient integration processes within healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and deliver technical integration solutions.
- Work on projects involving message movement, translation, and integration development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to message transformations and data flows.
- Analyze customer messaging specifications and provide gap analysis documentation.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for future reference and training.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to clarify messaging format requirements.
- Write and maintain translation plans to support development and testing.
- Support integration testing as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience integrating messaging between healthcare systems (EMRs, applications, third parties).
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience in technical analysis, design, and integration implementation.
- At least 2 years of experience working with relational databases (Transact-SQL, SQL stored procedures, etc.).
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio).
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of clinical and financial healthcare messaging.
- Familiarity with data formats such as HL7, EDI, CSV, XML, etc.
- Experience with tools like Diplomat, Microsoft SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, or IBM Integration Bus preferred.
- Experience integrating to and from EPIC systems strongly preferred.
- EPIC Bridges certification is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and proactive learning.
