Medical Equipment Branch Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Medical Equipment Branch Manager to oversee daily operations at our Bedford, NH location. This role is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare management, particularly in respiratory therapy or durable medical equipment (DME). You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensure smooth branch operations, and help deliver outstanding service to our patients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Supervise and support a team of approximately 9 employees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, and referral partners.
• Oversee inventory management, billing documentation, and regulatory compliance (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance).
• Track and manage key performance indicators, including revenue, expenses, and service metrics.
• Train and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, and support professional growth.
• Ensure timely and accurate patient documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance programs.
• Provide occasional on-call coverage and support for after-hours needs.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Leadership or management experience in healthcare operations

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Experience in respiratory therapy, medical equipment, or DME services
• Understanding of medical billing, insurance reimbursement, and compliance standards
• Four or more years of related work experience

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
• Comfortable with both independent and team-based work

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and transport medical equipment when needed
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and communicate for extended periods
• May participate in on-call rotations and patient deliveries

Location: Bedford, NH (candidates should live within approximately 50 miles)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; on-call availability required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
