Staff Up is hiring Holiday Décor Laborers. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, sorting, organizing, and storing holiday decorations and related materials.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and outdoor environment.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload holiday decorations, lighting, greenery, ornaments, containers, tools, and related materials.
- Move materials between company vehicles, trailers, warehouse areas, staging areas, and storage locations.
- Sort, count, label, organize, and stage decorations according to job or storage instructions.
- Handle decorations carefully to prevent damage, breakage, tangling, or loss.
- Inspect materials for visible damage and report missing or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free loading, unloading, warehouse, and staging areas.
- Follow supervisor instructions, company procedures, and all safety requirements.
- Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work a flexible seasonal schedule.
- Warehouse, moving, delivery, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
- Must follow safe lifting and material-handling practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assistance will be provided for heavier items.
- Must be comfortable working in warehouse, loading, unloading, and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and changing weather.
- Must use required PPE and follow all workplace safety procedures.
