Job description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Turret Truck Driver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for movement of goods safely and efficiently within warehouse while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent operation skills, and the ability to navigate various environments.

Work in a cold environment (Cold Suit provided)

Duties

• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, or storage racks using the turret truck, forklift, Ryder Palate Jack.
• This may involve positioning the Turret Truck, forklift's / Ryder Pallet Jack forks under pallets, crates, or other types of containers and lifting them to move or stack the materials.
• Safely transporting materials within the warehouse. This includes maneuvering the Turret Truck (TSP) through narrow aisles, around obstacles, and properly stacking or shelving the materials according to the storage plan or designated locations.
• Must adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes following established guidelines for speed limits, load capacities, and pedestrian traffic. You may also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct before/after operational inspections of the equipment.
• Notify management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures at the warehouse.
• Collaborate with management and other members of the warehouse team to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.
• Occasionally assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as picking using order picker / Ryder Palate Jack and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a Turret Truck within a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills are needed.
• Proficiency in reading orders and accurate documentation.
• Adhering to all safety requirements; utilizing a safety-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position without reasonable accommodations.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Able to lift and move heavy merchandise items.
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work on weekends, as needed.

Work Environment

• Standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
• Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands.
• Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Very Cold - Freezer environment
