Position:Teacher Assistant– Stacy Middle School Bridges Program
Location:Stacy Middle School
Schedule:2026-2027 School Year – Hours 7:45 – 2:15
Salary:Per Contract $19.10 – $24.92/hour based on experience & certification
To Start:August 24, 2026
Qualifications:
•Associate degree or at least 2 years at an institution of higher education
•Special Needs Middle School experience preferred
•Experience as a teaching assistant in Special Education environment, preferably with students with social-emotional disabilities
•CPI training preferred
•Team player, flexible
Duties:
•Assist and support students in specialized program for students returning from extended
absences and for students with social-emotional disabilities
•Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of educators
•Ability to modify curriculum
•Work collaboratively with others in the classroom
•Must attend and participate in early release day activities
Salary : $19 - $24
