BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE
Summary
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for daily administration of several multi state payrolls in ADP Workforce Now and ADP E-time. Processing payroll, tracking time, running reports, implementing processes and procedures. This is a high volume, fast-paced, multi-company code environment.
Principal Accountabilities/Essential Functions
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
While performing duties of this job, the employee’s work environment may vary from professional office to fulfillment center floor, and other vendor/client locations. However, the primary environment for this role can be a remote based position. The position will also require travel of both in air and driving.

Principal Accountabilities/Essential Functions
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized
- Calculates and records payroll adjustments
- Handles reporting requests as well as creating new reports
- Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Staying in compliance with current HR policies
- Assist with ongoing payroll projects
- Providing a high level of customer service to internal and external
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers to answer questions/concerns in a timely manner
- Escalates issues when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent; bilingual (English/Spanish)
- 1 Year of ADP WFN experience
- Processing garnishments and responses
- ADP Payroll Workforce Now and ADP-E-Time
- Timekeeping systems like Kronos, ADP or other clocks
- Excel (V-LOOKUP, Pivot Table etc.)
- Time management to produce accurate work even when under pressure
- Organizational techniques
- Professional in verbal and written communication techniques
- Process full cycle bi-weekly & weekly US payrolls, through ADP
- Process new hires, terminations, direct deposit detail, tax withholding information, additional payments, overtime and in some instances multiple pay rates per Associate
- Switch gears and multi-task efficiently and effectively
- Work effectively as a team and with other departments
