What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at St. Vincent Early Learning Center?
The Housekeeper maintains clean, sanitary, and safe conditions in all areas of the school; follows established housekeeping procedures of management and regulatory authorities.
· Responsible for all morning laundry - collection, washing, drying, folding, and delivery
· Assist with the blankets and soft toy laundry, per schedule
· Clean door frames, railings, window ledges, as needed
· Assist with cleaning common areas, restrooms, workrooms, windows, water fountains, lobby, hallways as needed
· Assist with trash collection and filling supplies, as needed
· Sweep stairwells, 2x/month; clean hallway floors 3x/week
· Report defective or unsafe conditions
· Maintain good relationships with all clients and staff by responding to environmental needs promptly and efficiently
· Assist with clean up and disinfecting after illness
· Maintain confidentiality
· Model appropriate behavior
· Ability to utilize technology at a proficient level
· Maintain and model excellent attendance and punctuality
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Pay: From $14.50 per hour
