The Food Services Assistant will support the food services department by preparing and serving nutritious meals and maintaining sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, including meal assembly, portioning, and adhering to dietary requirements
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following proper procedures for cooking, sanitation, and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food handling surfaces in compliance with health regulations and standards
- Support the department by sanitizing, cleaning dishes, and assisting with sanitation tasks to uphold hygiene standards.
- Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks and manual handling to prevent injury.
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and PPE use at all times.
Pay: From $14.50 per hour
