Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated middle school SCIENCE school teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality instruction, fostering a love of learning and knowledge, and integrating Catholic values into the curriculum. This position requires a dynamic educator who is skilled in classroom management, lesson planning, and differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, with a strong sense of rigor and high expectations for students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and Massachusetts and Boston Archdiocese standards-based lessons in core subject area
- Foster a nurturing and disciplined classroom environment that supports student learning and spiritual growth
- Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and classroom culture
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments
- Participate in school-wide activities, liturgies, and professional development.
- Offer two 1-hour tutoring sessions per week for students who demonstrate need.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
- Valid teaching credential or the ability to obtain one (preferred)
- Practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to Catholic education
- Experience teaching at the middle school level is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
