Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated elementary school teacher to
join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality instruction, fostering a love of learning and knowledge, and integrating Catholic values into the curriculum. This position requires a dynamic educator who is skilled in classroom management, lesson planning, and differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, with a strong sense of rigor and high expectations for students.
Responsibilities
Teach all core academic subjects to second grade students including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies according to the Massachusetts and archdiocese standards
Integrate Catholic teachings and values throughout the curriculum
Prepare students for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation (Penance) and First Holy Communion, coordinating with the parish and supporting families through the sacramental preparation process
Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments
Collaborate with faculty and participate in school liturgies and faith-based activities

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
Valid teaching credential or the ability to obtain one (preferred)
Practicing Catholic, with a commitment to Catholic education
Experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

FLSA exempt
7:45 AM – 3:45 PM during the school year
