Elementary School Teacher – Values-Based Learning Community
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Elementary School Teacher to join our supportive educational community. Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective, engaging lesson plans aligned with school curriculum.
- Teach Spexial Area subjects, including Music, Art, Library, Phys Ed. , STEM.
- Create a welcoming, classroom environment that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and respect.
- Use a range of assessment methods to evaluate and support student learning and progress.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs, including those of students with learning differences.
- Foster students’ social-emotional development and contribute to a safe, nurturing school culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support continuous improvement and student success.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and caregivers to build strong school-home partnerships.
- Participate actively in professional development, team planning, and school-wide events.
- Support the school’s mission and values, including its Christian foundation, in an inclusive and age-appropriate way.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching certification preferred.
- Experience teaching at the elementary level; experience in independent, charter, or faith-based settings is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, child development, and classroom management.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, creativity, and a growth mindset in the face of challenges.
- Commitment to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and ethically.
