The Role (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Own and grow a portfolio of municipal, commercial real estate, and venue clients
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, presentations, negotiation, and close
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Maintain and expand existing accounts through strong relationship management and upselling opportunities
- Develop tailored sales strategies based on market insights and territory potential
- Present custom, high-visibility holiday décor solutions to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, and operations) to ensure successful project execution
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM (Zoho or similar)
- Negotiate contracts and pricing while maintaining client satisfaction
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in B2B, outside, or enterprise sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience working with municipalities, commercial real estate, venues, or multi-stakeholder buyers is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to generate and close new business while managing ongoing client relationships
- Organized and self-directed with strong territory and account management skills
- Experience using CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Comfortable analyzing market data and adapting sales strategies
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and trade shows
