What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at St. Luke's Health System and Careers?
Responsible for improving the organization's market position and achieving financial growth. Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets.
- Directs the planning and preparation of business proposals, and makes recommendations to senior management.
- Builds, maintains, and manages vendor and supplier relationships.
- Collaborates with team to develop proposals and/or programs that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Identifies trends and identifies emerging opportunities to secure and/or increase competitive position.
- Closely collaborates with St. Luke's Marketing Department and Physician Liaisons to promote and increase referrals and sales to the organization.
- Oversees a business development plan, which evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies for business growth.
- Initiate programs and monitor results of vendors, team members, and/or the organization's Marketing Department executing various marketing plans.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree
- Experience: 4 years relevant experience (some first responder experience preferred)
