What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Assistants position at St. Joseph School?
St. Joseph Catholic School is hiring two instructional assistants for the 2026/2027 school year. Ideal candidates are faith filled, energetic, and want to share their love of God with our students. IA's are huge supports to the students learning environment and candidate should be able to support the teachers' instruction.
There are two positions open, one is for 2nd grade and one is for 4th/5th grade. Both are full time M-F and 7:30 - 3:30. Tasks include working with small groups of children, assisting with classroom management, take over lead teachers duties in their absence if necessary, morning carline, recess duty and other tasks as assigned.
