Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming environment
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations when needed
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and setup for service or special events such as banquets or catering functions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table clearing and resetting for new guests
- Support dietary accommodations by understanding menu options and communicating special requests to kitchen staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining settings or similar food service environments
- Strong background in customer service, with excellent communication skills
- Experience serving food and beverages in restaurants or catering events
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Previous banquet or catering experience is highly desirable
- Barista experience or familiarity with coffee service is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward guest interactions
- Food industry knowledge including dietary considerations and special requests
