Overview:
Fred’s, a small Detroit style pizza company operating out of Harbert, MI is seeking a customer service focused individual to join our team as a Front of House team member. This is a part time, seasonal position with employment expected from May through August. We are looking for a personable, dynamic individual who enjoys connecting with customers while operating in a fast paced, fast casual environment.
Responsibilities:
In this role your responsibilities would include and are not limited to:
- Greet customers promptly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders in person, over the phone, or via POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy with all payments
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
- Greet customers promptly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience

- Run food items from the kitchen to seated guests when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Friendly, outgoing attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to stay organized and multitask during busy shifts
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
