Staff Needed
- Part time Prep/Line Cook 25-30 hours per week. Possibility for more.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with food handling procedures to uphold food safety regulations and prevent contamination.
- Busing tables and clearing dining areas to support smooth service flow during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest needs and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food handling safety standards.
- Experience with banquet service or hotel kitchens is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with guests when needed.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
