What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at St. James Episcopal School?
St. James Episcopal School seeks a culturally competent and responsive faculty member to teach in our Preschool classes for the 2022-2023 academic school year. The lead teacher will work closely with a Teaching Assistant.
Strong preference is for a lively educator who has obtained a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education and/or has significant teaching experience with early childhood-age students. The ideal candidate will have a genuine ability to “connect” with students and be comfortable incorporating the use of various technologies to support student learning. The desire to plan and work collaboratively on a team is essential. Faculty must be willing to actively participate in committees and school life outside the classroom. CPR / First Aid and other training and background checks will be required upon hire.

Pay: $7.78 - $25.00 per hour
