Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their critical early childhood years. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster holistic childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional growth.
- Conduct lesson planning aligned with preschool standards, ensuring activities are engaging, age-appropriate, and inclusive of children with special education needs.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including toddler care, childcare activities, and maintaining a safe environment for all students.
- Assess children’s progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate; communicate findings effectively with parents and team members.
- Incorporate teaching physical education and other interactive activities to promote motor skills development and overall health.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and individualized learning plans for students requiring early intervention or additional support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior private school experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tools including Montessori methods, literacy education techniques, and standardized testing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and special education needs; experience in early childhood education is essential.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare; additional training in special education or tutoring is advantageous.
