Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Talent Development and HR initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in understanding the processes for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness within the satellite communications industry. Responsibilities
- Support the Talent Development team in creating and updating training materials, presentations, and resources tailored to the satellite communications sector.
- Support the organization and scheduling of learning programs
- Conduct research on industry best practices in learning and development to inform and enhance our training strategies.
- Help track and report on training participation and effectiveness, utilizing our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assist in managing the company’s LMS by updating content, monitoring user engagement, and ensuring the system meets the needs of our employees.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including room setup, virtual meeting support, and participant communications.
- Gather and analyze feedback from training participants to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in projects related to employee engagement, leadership development, and/or digital learning initiatives, including driving a critical project to build out a new Talent Development homepage for employees.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); bonus points for experience with LMS platforms, SharePoint, and/or graphic design!
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A genuine interest in learning and development within the technology or satcom sectors.
