Position Summary:St. David’s School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Athletic Trainer to join our Christ-centered educational community. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for middle and upper school student-athletes. This role supports the mission of St. David’s by promoting physical wellness and safety while modeling Christian character and servant leadership.Key Responsibilities:Provide on-site injury assessment and immediate care during practices and games.Develop and implement injury prevention programs and rehabilitation plans.Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and progress.Collaborate with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure student-athlete safety.Manage inventory and maintenance of athletic training supplies and equipment.Educate student-athletes on health, nutrition, and injury prevention.Uphold the values and mission of St. David’s School in all interactions.Qualifications:Master's degree in athletic training or related field.Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.Licensed or eligible for licensure by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.Current CPR/AED certification required.Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A clear expression of faith in Christ and a deeply rooted Christian characterBiblical Integration:At St. David’s, we believe in nurturing the whole student—mind, body, and spirit.
