Marketing Event Center Coordinator (FT)

RATE OF PAY: $17.28/HR. OR D.O.E.

JOB SUMMARY: In additions to assisting with Entertainment A/V needs, he/she will coordinate all Event Center functions, scheduling and facilitating day to day events.

QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Highly organized team oriented individual. Experience in marketing preferred. Must be outgoing, and to communicate to individuals or groups. Specialties include trade show participation and special events. PC skills, word, excel email.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Able to manage effectively in stressful situations. Extensive public contact on and off property. Flexible working hours, days, nights, weekends. Some lifting required. Meeting deadlines, organizing, budgeting and prioritizing several projects at one time required. Supports Promotions Manager and Marketing Department staff policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: To represent as professionally as possible the casino and St. Croix Chippewa and its Enterprises at all times. Schedule, coordinate and facilitate event center functions including but not limited to, live concerts, banquets, weddings, expos, Tribal functions, weekend entertainment, special functions (super bowl, etc) and casino events. He/she will delegate responsibility required to facilitate functions to the correct departments and maintain lines of communication VIA function sheets and production meetings.

Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
