St. Cloud Orthopedic Associates has been proudly serving Central Minnesota for more than 70 years, providing expert, patient-centered orthopedic care as an independent, locally owned practice. We are looking for a Coder II to join our Business Office team and help ensure accurate, compliant, and timely coding across our clinic and surgical services.

What You’ll Do
Review medical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for office visits, clinical procedures, and surgical services.
Enter charges promptly and ensure coding accuracy to support the revenue cycle.
Stay up to date on coding changes, payer guidelines, and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with providers and staff to clarify documentation and support coding compliance.
Help identify missing charges and resolve coding-related discrepancies.
Assist with process improvement, training new coders, and supporting Business Office operations.
Provide professional and courteous responses to questions about coding or charges.
What You Bring
Certification such as CPC or CCP preferred.
1–3 years of CPT and ICD-10 coding experience (orthopedics a plus, but not required).
Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and insurance processes.
High attention to accuracy, detail, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to communicate clearly with physicians, staff, and patients.
Proficiency with EHR systems, computer applications, and coding reference tools.
A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to excellent patient service.
