Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Insurance Office Assistant/Agent to join our team! Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly at the front desk, providing professional and friendly customer service
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
- Assist with policy administration, including updating client records using software like QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and maintaining office supplies
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, delivering excellent customer support
- Maintain organized records for insurance policies, claims, and correspondence in compliance with company standards
- Support bookkeeping activities including basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar tools
Experience
- Prior office experience or administrative experience preferred, especially in insurance or related fields such as medical or dental receptionists
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook),QuickBooks (preferred/can train) and Google Workspace tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse client needs effectively
- Experience with clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, data entry, filing, and maintaining records is highly desirable
- Knowledge of office equipment including multi-line phone systems and front desk operations is beneficial
- Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience
- Currently licensed in Insurance, Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health or willing to obtain licensure
