Duties
- Engage with potential business clients through outside sales efforts, including networking and community outreach, to generate new insurance leads.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend appropriate insurance products such as business liability, workers compensation, property or life insurance, and cross-sell to the personal insurance and group benefits departments.
- Educate clients on policy coverages and premiums, ensuring their insurance aligns with their business and financial goals.
- Work closely with our Commercial Insurance Account Manager, and assist in servicing areas where needed, including processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and following up on policy renewals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products through various channels and outreach strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and assisting with servicing when needed.
We expect you to have:
A minimum of 1 year experience in sales or an office setting; we would like to hear about your success in meeting sales quotas and your plan for growth in sales.
This position demands that you have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills along with superb interpersonal skills and experience in building relationships – both with clients and team members. You must be highly comfortable with client interaction via phone, email and in person, and exhibit strong customer relationship skills with the highest level of professionalism.
