Summary

According to established policies, procedures, and protocols, performs computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and assists a licensed practitioner with interventional computed tomography procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Attainment of one of the following:
   1. Advanced-level certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in computed tomography.
   2. Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT with documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams and attainment of advanced-level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography within one year of hire.
   3. Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB with documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams and attainment of  advanced-level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography within one year of hire.

1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

1. One year of CT experience.
