Summary
While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital, this position is responsible for assisting pharmacist(s) in preparing and distributing medications and maintaining patient records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Fundamental understanding of personal computers, keyboarding skills, and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
- Completion of one of the following:
- pharmacy technician training program
- pharmacy technician certification
- six months of pharmacy technician experience
- six months of working as a Pharmacy Associate with St. Clair Hospital
- two years of a pharmacy college or an accredited program leading to transfer into the third year of a pharmacy college
