Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Communications, this position serves as the primary point of contact for marketing projects across the organization. This role is responsible for managing projects from intake through execution, supporting both traditional and digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring timely, organized delivery of all marketing assets.
The specialist will play a key role in content creation and execution, including social media, short-form video (Reels), and photography, while also maintaining strong ownership of marketing workflows, calendars, and administrative processes. This position supports community-facing marketing efforts through campaigns and content development rather than direct outreach coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations
- 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications department
- Strong proficiency using all Microsoft Office software programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and CMS platforms
- Experience capturing and editing short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels)
- Basic photography skills and comfort using a camera in a professional setting

Essential Functions

- Serve as the primary point of contact for external marketing requests, managing project intake, timelines, and deliverables from start to finish
- Maintain and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across campaigns, priorities, and deadlines
- Perform ongoing administrative and project management tasks, including tracking deliverables, organizing assets, and ensuring workflow efficiency
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, functionality, SEO alignment, and strong user experience
- Manage execution of email marketing campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including content development, scheduling, deployment, and performance tracking
- Plan, create, and publish social media content, including:
- Writing copy and coordinating visuals
- Capturing short-form video (Reels) as needed
- Filming in clinical or provider office settings when appropriate
- Monitoring engagement and identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Capture photography across the hospital and outpatient locations as needed to support marketing initiatives
- Support development of community-facing marketing campaigns and materials, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and brand standards
- Monitor and respond to digital communications, including social media messages, comments, and online reviews, escalating when appropriate
- Assist in coordination and marketing support of organizational events and initiatives, ensuring deliverables are executed effectively
- Contribute to content creation across channels, including web, social, blogs, and patient communications
- Performs other duties as assigned in support of the Marketing and Communications team and broader organizational goals.
